About the studio
We temper models — we do not mint tokens
Neural Forge AI is an applied-AI studio and AI consultancy headquartered at 199 Bay Street in Toronto's Financial District. We design and build custom machine learning models, generative-AI systems and MLOps pipelines for Canadian organizations — not courses, not SaaS you subscribe to, and not a blacksmithing shop despite the name.
Bay Street context, bench-floor discipline
Our studio sits in the heart of Toronto's business core — close enough to understand how enterprise operations actually run, far enough from vendor theatre to stay honest about model limits. We work with SMEs, scale-ups and enterprise teams across the Canadian market who need models that survive production traffic, not demos that impress in a boardroom and fail by Tuesday.
"Neural" refers to the models we engineer. "Forge" describes our method: frame the problem, prototype on real data, temper under evaluation pressure, ship with MLOps that does not rust when upstream schemas shift. We are not a cryptocurrency forge, not an NFT mint, and not a metal fabrication shop. If you need horseshoes, you want a different kind of smith.
Our team is senior ML engineers, data scientists and production-minded architects. We do not inflate headcount with fictional credentials or trophy walls. When you engage us, the people in the discovery sprint are the people who deploy your inference pipeline.

Senior engineers lead every engagement — from prototype through MLOps handover.
How we engage clients
Every project starts with a discovery sprint: audit data, name gaps, agree project scope and quote CAD project fees in writing. Fixed-scope builds suit defined outcomes — a classifier, a RAG assistant, a forecasting pipeline with stated error bounds. Retainers suit teams who need standing model evaluation, prompt refinement and MLOps support as systems evolve.
We favour proof of concept before big spend — a working slice that proves the retrieval pipeline, the fine-tuned checkpoint or the predictive model earns trust with your operators. Then we harden for production with guardrails, responsible AI review and documentation your team can own. Measurable outcomes are defined upfront. Guaranteed ROI is not — because your data, adoption and operating context determine results, not our slide design.
We serve clients in Ontario and across Canada, with on-site sessions at our Bay Street studio or remote pairing as your security policies allow. Business hours are Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 Eastern Time.
What we build — and what we refuse
Our catalogue covers AI strategy, predictive machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning where justified, workflow automation via API integration, and evaluation harnesses your staff can rerun without calling us for every drift event. We organize engagements around the forge method because vague "AI transformation" language wastes everyone's time.
We do not build crypto trading bots, AI-income schemes, autonomous systems marketed as staff replacements, or products that resell client data. We do not broker your corpus to third-party trainers. Client data stays in environments you control, with PIPEDA-compliant handling as the baseline for Canadian engagements.
Responsible AI, by default
Human-in-the-loop is not a footer disclaimer for us — it is how we architect. AI assistants and agents log actions, cite sources where applicable, and defer to humans on high-stakes calls. We implement model evaluation, bias checks where relevant, adversarial testing on generative outputs, and audit trails your compliance team can actually read.
We tell clients when a model should not ship — when data is too thin, when evaluation shows unacceptable error on protected groups, when latency blows the business case. That honesty is part of the service. Shortcut training is how alloys crack under heat; we would rather lose a sprint than ship something that fails your operators in production.
